Jerome Bernardino

Jerome Monroe P. Bernardino in 2017 graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in the University of the Philippines Baguio. He currently serves as an instructor in the same university. During his undergraduate years, he received a number of academic accolades, including coveted memberships in Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society.

In his first semester of teaching, he earned the top spot in the student evaluation for full-time faculty members in the entire College of Science. His fields of interest include Plant Physiology, Plant Anatomy, Phycology, and Animal Physiology. In terms of research, his most recent inclination focuses on fungal biocontrol agents against parasitic root-knot nematodes.
