Dr. Priscilla Macansantos
Priscilla Supnet Macansantos is currently a Professor of Mathematics at UP Baguio. She obtained her BS degree in Mathematics, magna cum laude from UP Baguio, her MS and PhD degrees, also in Mathematics, at the University of Delaware, in the USA. While on MS studies, she was on a Rotary Foundation Graduate scholarship, and for her PhD work, she was on a Fulbright Graduate Fellowship.
Her field of interest is Mathematical Analysis, with Differential Equations and Inclusions as specific areas. In the 1998 to 2003, she was an Associate member of the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS); in 2000, she was an Exchange scientist at the Osaka Prefecture University, through a grant from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). In 2012, and 2015, she was Visiting Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She has presented papers in local and international conferences. Prof. Macansantos teaches undergraduate and graduate Mathematics courses at UP Baguio. She has published several papers in international and local journals, has been given an International Publication Award by UP, and has also been recipient of several Professorial Chair awards. She was Chancellor of UP Baguio from 2003 to 2012.
