Dr. Marissa Alejandria graduated with latin honors with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Public Health at the University of the Philippines College of Public Health. She acquired her Doctor of Medicine at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine Postgraduate Training and took her postgraduate internship at UP-Philippines General Hospital.
She obtained her M.Sc. Clinical Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand and her M.Sc. Clinical Epidemiology at UP-College of Medicine. She is the Chair of Department of Clinical Epidemiology at UP-College of Medicine from 2013 to present.
KALUSUGAN AY KARAPATAN is a program that will tackle health and wellness topics in the field of medicine and nutrition. Because health is often considered a privilege, this program will engage people to become more informed about how health, as a right, should be demandable and enforceable, for them to be more active in the preventive and curative measures that should be done in addressing various health and wellness concerns in the country.
