Rizal Monuments and the Filipino Diaspora | Dr. Roberto Paulino
Roberto G. Paulino is an Associate Professor at the Department of Art Studies, College of Arts and Letters in UP Diliman, where he also obtained his Ph.D. in Philippine Studies.
He is the recipient of the Washington Sycip Award for Best General Education Learning Material conferred by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, University of the Philippines.
This video updates research previously presented in his 2010 Rizal Day Lecture at the Rizal Shrine in Fort Santiago, Manila and in his 2013 dissertation titled “Mediated Emplacements of Jose Rizal Memorials Overseas.”
