Dr. Ricardo Jose

DR. RICARDO JOSE is currently Director of the Third World Studies Center, a social science research center in the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, University of the Philippines Diliman, which focuses on political economy and globalization, social movements, democratic governance, among others. He has guided and supported the various research projects, conferences and round table discussions hosted by the center, involving local and international scholars. Dr. Jose is also a professor of history. He has had an active interest in the history of transportation in the Philippines, and served as adviser and consultant to thesis on Philippine land and air transportation.

DOCUMENTARIES: THE FILIPINO is a collection of documentaries directed by documentary students and filmmakers of the UP Film Institute of the University of the Philippines.
